AIP Beneficiaries Warn Duty Bearers on Network Challenge Excuse.

Beneficiaries of Affordable Input Program in Lingamasa, Mangochi have issued a
Stern warning to duty bearers urging them to fix the network issue which they say
is hindering the process accessing fertilizer in the area failing which they have
threatened to take undisclosed course of action.

The warning was issued on Wednesday at Mtuwa old school Market center where
beneficiaries raised their grievances saying the network issue is delaying the
process of purchasing the farm inputs, and that the challenge is costing them a
lot.

Speaking during an interview one of the beneficiary Imran Malombe said it is
worrisome to see how the elderly are constantly visiting the place yet they are
unable to purchase the fertilizer.

In his remarks one of the chairpersons of community policing at the area Mapilisi
Makalani concurred with Malombe saying the network issue is the biggest
challenge from day one.

Makalani added that once the network issue is resolved the process will move
smoothly.

15 Group Village Headman are expecting to buy the AIP initiative with 4, 44
beneficiaries.

Lingamasa is one of the hard to reach areas hence the initiative started earlier
but the issue of network is slowing the process.
